This is the only park I know of on the Willamette River, the east side of Portland. It is easy access off the freeway. Relatively reasonable cost. There is water and electricity, with a dump station on site. There are no showers available in the restrooms. There is a boat ramp. The only problem is because of the geese, this park is not clean and there are droppings everywhere. Great view of the river.
Nice park, if you like more of a permanent residence experience. The restroom and laundry facilities are clean. Though pets are accepted, there are minimal pet areas on the premisis, and then more structured for small dogs.
I would not recommend this park. I was walking my dog on his leash as required,,and a permanent resident's dog,off leash, attacked my dog without as so much of an apology from the dog's owner. I went to complain to Management,as she acted as if it was my fault. I left immediately. The park is old and worn, and more geared for permanent residency.
